John F. Kennedy
Mr. Kennedy has an extensive background in the ownership and management of radio and television stations. Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of Auburn University and has held positions as sales manager and director of sales for major Corporate radio stations as Cumulus Broadcasting and local stations as Tiger Communications, Quantum Communications, Archway Communications (acquired by PMB Broadcasting) and now is owner and president of LBI Media Inc., home of WAXC-TV 3, WFEB-B101 Sylacauga’s Best Hits and All Time Favorites and WKGA-Kowaliga Country 97.5.
Programming and General Manager
Jeremy “JJ” Jeffcoat has been in radio for nearly 25 years. Over that time, he’s worked in almost every format imaginable…Rock, Pop, Talk, Country, Gospel and more. As a child of the 80’s, JJ especially enjoys the 80’s music on B101, his favorite artists are Prince, Hall & Oates, and the Black Crowes. Weekday Afternoons, JJ handles the ride home from 2pm to 6pm, playing Sylacauga’s Best Hits & All Time Favorites.
Director of Sales, Digital and Marketing Manager
Mr. Grantham has an extensive background in all aspects of broadcasting and media to include cable, newspaper, radio, TV, and digital sales. Mr. Grantham is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and has held positions as Senior Account Executive, Regional Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, Promotions Manager, Digital Sales Manager and Director of Sales. Mr. Grantham has worked with Corporate broadcasting and media companies iHeartMedia, Cumulus Broadcasting, Knight-Ridder Newspapers, McClusky Newspapers, Knology Cable Holdings Inc and General Media and local stations Archway Broadcasting (acquired by PMB Broadcasting) and now LBI Media Inc., home of WAXC-TV 3, WFEB-B101 Sylacauga’s Best Hits and All Time Favorites and WKGA-Kowaliga Country 97.5.
Betty English Heacock
Ms. Heacock was born in Blue Springs, Alabama and grew up in Brewton, Alabama. She is graduated from W.S. Neal High School from there attended the Athens College in Athens, Alabama. After completion of college Ms. Heacock moved around the United States with husband’s job for several years before laying her roots in Sylacauga, Alabama where they raised three children. In 1984 Ms. Heacock accepted a position with WFEB-AM as the station’s bookkeeper and traffic manager until 2006 where she was promoted as to the position of General Manager for Power Broadcasting until LBI Media purchased WFEB-AM from Powers Broadcasting in 2018. In 2018 WFEB-AM also became WFEB-FM where Ms. Heacock remains in her position as General Manager.
